Mount Diablo rises up 3800 feet in San Francisco's East Bay Area. It is the single most predominant landmark in the area. A sun tower was created this day at sunrise. It is the light yellow tower of color shimmering up from where the sun appeared moments later. The warm rich colors of sunrise were crowned with pastel yellow and pink clouds. The layers of hillsides from the Orinda area make a pleasing composition of light and form. The valleys are almost a mirror reflection of the mountain above. |
