Mount Diablo is in the San Francisco's East Bay Area. Mount Diablo could have been named Devil mountain for the devilishly red color it turns at sunset. Legend has it a band of people disappeared into a thicket. The hills turn green in spring time when the oak trees come back to life. It is my favorite time of year to capture the mountain at its best. The last red light of day hits the mountain top as the clouds colorize the sky.. |
