I was driving into the Eastern Sierras from Bishop California. The aspens trees startes out green at the lower elevations on Bishop Creek. The aspens changed to a brilliant gold and rusty red at the highest elevations. The timing of this trip couldn't have been better. It was 80 degrees at 10,000 feet and the trees were at their peak display of fall color. My advise at Bishop Creek is to take the side roads. You never know what the trees will frmae up as you drive through beautiful stands of aspens putting on a red and golden display of fall color. |
