It was Easter
Weekend 2002. 5 planets were lined up. I knew I had to be here. I left
the house in pouring rain The sky was a weird inky black. This intense rainbow appeared as the sun was setting. I could see the magic in my viewfinder. Judy Garlands song was running through my head - Somewhere Over the Rainbow. This rainbow has been seen by members of the United Nations, Roots of Peace, Tree of Life, book covers, used by banks and lots of preachers for their sunday sermons. It is on a world tour I could have only dreamed of. It is a great investment. It is my defining moment as a photographer. |
