| Autumn Bloom is my
favorite vineyard in Napa Valley. Roses were used to alert the grower
of any pests or disease that might affect the vines in days gone by.
This old stone wall and rose plants have been removed to make a road
leading
to a new winery. Growth in the Napa Valley continues to reshape
the landscape. I captured the fall colors at sunrise to remember the
beautiful bloom of white roses on this day of autumn in Napa Valley and
the California vineyards. Progress comes with a price. |
